Book Publishing Goes Digital
Times are rough in the world of books. With leisure reading steadily on the decline and the price of distributing novels rising, book publishing is becoming tougher and tougher. That’s why many people see a new hope in digital publishing. With technology like e-books and e-book readers such as the Kindle and Engadget, readers are able to download books in a matter of seconds. Not to mention, they do so for cheaper and receive a new novel sometimes weeks before it’s published in traditional book form. Even so, the public is still wary of pixels compared to paper. Only time will tell if the technology catches on.
