PRINCE2: Refresh is Updated Version of the Classic

Prince2 project management training is essential for learning the basics of this project management approach. PRINCE stands for PRojects IN Controlled Environments and is an established method for organizing and managing projects. The 2 refers to the second version of the methodology. Both versions arose from a United Kingdom government project management effort called PROMPT, which was developed in 1989. PRINCE2 was developed in an IT environment but  is used both inside and outside of computer projects today. The most recent iteration of PRINCE2 is called PRINCE2: Refresh. It is considered a useful approach to managing and directing large projects by those who use it in Western Europe and Australia.
