Online Bible Studies and Video Conferencing
On very interesting trend in online studies is the use of video conferencing in order to create virtual classrooms. The environment is just like a chat room, except that the teacher and the students will be very far away from each other, with webcams, microphone and internet chat programs being their means of contact. The effectiveness of this system is surprising, especially if all the people involved have the same copies of a textbook with them, either in paper or electronic form. This can allow online bible studies to be facilitated in a way very much like a real world classroom.
