The Nature of A Call Center Call

A call center call can either be outbound, in which case telemarketing or other functions that involve outgoing calls is done, or inbound, in which case calls are of an incoming nature. These are the two basic types of calls. Just note that there are only two, but due to the massive volumes of calls received and the massive numbers that have to be generated, a great deal of advanced technology is involved with each call center call, whether inbound or outbound. The very best in communications technology is often used and some of the innovations used in call centers everyday would be downright alien for even a generation ago.
