When I first went into business for myself, I did not have a clue about the various types of company structure that were available to me, and after doing a bit of research all that I found was that there are certain types of company structure that can be formed in the United States. However, after taking a bit of advice I found out that it’s possible to actually own a company in a different country. And, of course, I had no idea of how to incorporate offshore, but luckily the lawyer whose advice I took knew quite a bit about it, and he helped me to find a really good company formation agent who not only set up the company in a different jurisdiction but also helped me to get a proper business bank account and put me into business.
