Setting Up Your Home Office

Even if you don’t work at home, everyone needs a home office. It can be a space as small as it has to be as long as you can accommodate one or two filing cabinets to keep the important papers that protect you, your family and your home. Old receipts and past tax records, insurance policies and warranty information may not be glamorous but when you need them, there is no substitute for the info they contain. The good news is that filing cabinets can be inexpensive or as attractive as you need them to be so they will not be an eye sore regardless of where you set up your office.

Commercial toilets are of course a necessity as well as a requirement by law if you want to do business with the public or have employees. The building we bought had two six stall toilets  in the place. Right now , we really only need two two-stall  toilets maximum.  We could really use the extra space for display. You have to have enough bathrooms that are clean and working for customers to use but there is probably 300 square feet that could be used for product.  I will have to look at the bottom line.  We need to create more profit.    

Inexpensive Ways to Bind Books

Years ago, to get a book binding you would have to spend a lot of money or go to a specialty shop to have this done. Now, you can visit almost any office supply store and they can offer you many types of bindings using any one of a variety of book binding machines. Some of the more popluar choices are comb binding and spiral binding. Comb bindings are usually used when the number of pages is quite high and the thickness of the document is quite thick. Spiral binding works better on thinner documents and things like calendars and cookbooks. In either case, these bindings are inexpensive and can be done in a few minutes.
