When I was young I thought badminton was a sort of substitute game of tennis for people who were weak or maybe almost disabled. When you are young you think a lot of weird things.

I later discovered, when I slowed down enough to pay attention, that it is a great family game that eveyone can enjoy. I also learned that it can become quite competitive and there are leagues and tournaments.

For somebody interested in creating one of those Family Fun Places in the back yard, badminton is a great choice. It is inexpensive, mom, dad and all the kids can have a blast playing together. When your relatives come for holidays or the neighborhood kids come over, it can provide many hours of great fun.

As if I didn’t have enough to worry about now that my son is in Junior High, now he has to do Sixth Grade Science Projects too. I don’t know that he will bring home a ribbon, but it’s blue ribbon quality to me.

How To Get A Homeschool Diploma
