Financing a Bike

Posted by Gayla,

There is nothing like jetting down the open road on the bike of your dreams. Of course, getting the bike of your dreams is easier said than done, especially these days with credit so tight. Motrocycle financing is a whole different animal than getting a loan on a car or a house. Nope, getting a loan for a bike requires finding a lender that is both familiar and comfortable with motorcycles. The most obvious place to get a loan for a bike is at the dealership, but if you are buying a used bike or have less than stellar credit, a dealer may not be willing to offer you alone. Never fear, there are other lenders out there, you just have to look deeper to find a lender. A little research on line will open a lot of doors, but failing that ask the dealership who they recommend and even run it by your buddies. They will certainly have some good leads for you.

Almost Broke

Posted by Bridgett,

My husband has been out of a job for several months now and the refrigerator finally died.  The washing machine is also on bollowed time. I remember my mom used to used layaway for clothes for us when we were growing up. Then I started to hear about layaway programs online being available and then I remember that one time she bought a washing machine on layaway.  Was I surprised to learn all about all the programs that are now available. This is something we can really use especially right now.  I am so glad that so many stores are brining this back.
