I have tried a lot of massaging equipment throughout my life. I do not like any of the back massagers that are positioned in a chair. They do not give me the sensations that I need to be truly relaxed. I have found that the Hitachi Magic Wand has just enough power to give me the massaging that I need without feeling pain. Some of the products that I have used before have cause me more pain than relief. It has felt as though I was getting poked and prodded with rods rather than massaged to a gentle relaxed state of mind.

My glasses drive me crazy and I don’t have much luck with contact lenses. As a result of this, I have been thinking about Laser Eye Surgury for the past few months. Thanks to the cost of this operation decreasing, it is well within my budget. I do want to speak to a surgeon first to see if this type of procedure will work for me as I have family members who were told it would not help. If it is not going to help me or if I will need the surgery again in just a few years, I will need to look at other options. I can’t just throw money away on something that doesn’t help.

It was about 20 years ago when I first encountered the adkins diet plan. I could still remember my mum earnestly preparing and fixing special meals for my eldest sister who was trying hard to shed pounds and slim down. (We were all growing up teens then.) And perhaps what’s most memorable was the incredibly bizarre daily menu for this dieting program; my sister had on her plate steak, salad with creamy dressing, tuna with mayonnaise, roast chicken, omelette, cheese, bacon, pork chops! These stuff were ten times better than what we normally would have! How fortunate (yet ironical) to go on a diet with such rich foods!

You need to focus on 3 different exercises: cardio, weightlifting and ab exercises. And aim to workout 4 times per week (definitely a minimum of 3 times per week). The cardio you do can be anything: walking, running, biking, swimming…whichever cardio you don’t mind doing so you stick with it. The trick is to do the cardio in bursts because it will burn fat fast. For example, if you’re running, walk for one minute and then sprint for 15 seconds and repeat 10 times. Perform this type of interval cardio 2 times per week. Lifting weights is important because 3 pounds of added muscle burns as many calories as a 1 mile jog…and this is while you’re just sitting around! Aim for 30-45 minutes, 2 times per week. The last exercise you need to add to your workout are ab exercises. Aim to work your abs 3 times per week. There are a lot of different workouts for Abs you can do so try to find 3 or so that you enjoy doing and mix it up.
