The hip replacement surgery is carried out in case the patient experiences severe pain while sitting, moving and standing. This is caused mainly due to dislocation of hip joint that consists of ball and socket. The other reasons for the problem related to hips include bone tumor, hip injuries and fractures, along with bone arthritis and aseptic bone necrosis. The old age of a person also contributes towards hip problems that require hip replacement surgery.
