As an ex-smoker I understand how hard it is to give up smoking but I can assure that it will be one of the most satisfying feelings that you will ever experience. After only a few weeks you will feel that you have truly succeeded in overcoming the cravings and will begin to notice that the shortness of breath that you would have experienced has eased. Your clothes will not smell of smoke and your breath will be fresher. When you stop smoking you need to occupy your body as well as your mind. If you do more exercise than before you stop smoking, then you will not put on any excess weight and this will allow you to indulge in those little nibbles to help with the cravings.
